You see the photos from the New York City meets, a studio filled with people & the many dolls in attendance, but do you ever wonder what Gina Garan’s studio looks like without the crowds?

While in NYC, I had the chance to pop in & spend some time with Gina & was able to take a few shots of her studio. Although the lighting wasn’t in my favor, I thought it would be fun to give you a mini-tour of a magical dolly filled land right in the middle of a major city! I found it inspiring to be surrounded by so many of the dolls we know & love from books like This is Blythe & Blythe Style, maybe you will too!
By the light filled windows, you’ll find the beautiful quilt made by Blythe lovers. Also, check out the small shop with the cutest in dolly threads, official Blythe merchandise, & newly released dolls.

If you ever get a chance to visit, don’t hesitate, it’s a must see for any Blythe lover!
To see the rest of the tour, as well as these photos in larger sizes, go to our Flickr Set, “Gina Garan’s Studio”.
Many Thanks to the always wonderful Gina Garan for letting me snoop around her studio & for being such a kind & generous soul.

I am going to New York City in 2 weeks. When is Gina’s studio open, is it by appointment only…? I would love to meet Gina and see her studio, it would be a dream come true!
Hi Brian, I think Gina’s studio is only open when she holds dolly meets. Check the forums at thisisblythe.com to find out upcoming events!
